An earlier post of mine talked about ZSQL and ZPT. Well, this was OK, but it had its limitations. Being a generally lazy programmer, my forms didn't do validation before submission to the database, and users were getting 'field to long' error messages without knowing which field was too long.
By adding formulator into the mix, I got to stay lazy, but provide a much better experience to the users ...
Having used the CMF for a while, I'm still amazed at how much of it I don't know. Today I spent a bit of time mucking around with Scriptable Type information, in order to add start and end properties to my posts so that they would be picked up by the calendar.
