Being a generally lazy programmer, my forms didn't do validation before submission to the database, and users were getting 'field to long' error messages without knowing which field was too long. Having used the CMF for a while, I'm still amazed at how much of it I don't know. Today I spent a bit of time mucking around with Scriptable Type information, in order to add start and end properties to my posts so that they would be picked up by the calendar. I just downloaded the latest nightly build of Mozilla Firebird, and I am _very_ happy to see that it now has Midas support! Read on to see why that is so good.
